Hole 1

A slightly downhill par 4. Favor the right side of the fairway to avoid the trees that guard the left side of the green. An accurate second shot is necessary as a large cavernous bunker guards the right side of the green.

Hole 2

This is a short, uphill par four with a two-tiered elevated green. Leave the driver in the bag. The farther you hit the ball the tighter the hole gets. The green is well protected with a bunker right and trees left. The green requires exceptional distance control for your approach shot.

Hole 3

A long uphill par three with a hazard running the entire length of hole on the left and OB on the right. A two-tiered green with some well-placed bunkers requires an accurate tee shot. This might be the toughest hole on the course.

Hole 4

With an elevated tee and a tree lined fairway sloping from left to right you must be accurate off the tee to make par. Favor the left side of the fairway The approach shot plays about 1/2 club longer to the flat, elevated green. Your second shot will be very interesting,

Hole 5

A long par three from the elevated blue tee. This hole is extremely challenging, hitting to the large green that is guarded with bunkers left and right. A missed green left could be hazardous to your score.

Hole 6

Hole #6 is a fairly long par four, plays straight ahead with plenty of driving room. Be careful, your second shot plays a full club shorter. Missing this green left or long would not be wise.

Hole 7

A short par 4 that can be possibly reach by the "gorilla's" in your group. However, there is a risk at attempting to reach the green with trees on both sides of the fairway and a green that is well protected with bunkers. There is more room between the front bunker and the front of the green than you think. A birdie is possible if you favor the right center of the fairway.

Hole 8

Although it is not one of the longest par 5, it is a challenge. The "big hitters" in your group need to keep their tee shot down the left side of the fairway. There are bunkers and trees right and left off the tee. Keep your approach shots left-center and you'll set up a short pitch with no trouble.

Hole 9

This is a long par 4 that doglegs to the right demands an accurate tee shot. Many hazards to contend with including a lake that looms 200 yards from the tee and defends the right side of the hole through the green. Bunkers defend the right and left of the green. Keep your tee shot down the left side.

Hole 10

A very short downhill/uphill that requires an accurate shot. If you can avoid the trees on the right side you'll be left with a short uphill approach. Your approach shot is critical to make par on this hole so make sure to take enough club.

Hole 11

A tricky par three that is well guarded by three bunkers that surround the green. Any ball missing the green left will find a lateral hazard, but there is plenty of bail out room to the right of the green. A shot to the middle of the green is never bad on this hole.

Hole 12

This short, downhill par 4 fairway slopes from right to left. This sets up a short uphill pitch to a green guarded by two enormous bunkers. Several subtle slopes in the green will make birdies a challenge.

Hole 13

Fairly long, down hill par 4. The fairway slopes from right to left. Try to avoid the trees down the left side. The green is usually firm and slopes away from the fairway. The second shop plays one club shorter. Be careful to avoid the front right bunker.

Hole 14

While the yardage may suggest this hole would be easy, the entire hole travels up hill from tee to green. Its narrow fairway slopes right to left with trees protecting it on both sides. Your tee shot will be the most important. You will be hitting your second uphill shot to a two-tiered green that is surrounded with bunkers.

Hole 15

The wind generally blows from right to left and against you so make sure that you take enough club to hit this two-tiered green. A miss left spells disaster. Bail out right if necessary, you may get a friendly kick.

Hole 16

This is the signature hole of the course with a 200-foot elevation drop from the championship tee to the green. Don't be distracted by the spectacular view. This hole requires a deadly accurate tee shot with the fairway lined with trees. The approach shot plays downhill so don't over club. A large deep bunker on the left guards the green while a water hazard awaits for you to the right.

Hole 17

This par 4 has a narrow fairway with a lateral hazard that runs the length of the hole to the right and trees to the left. Missing the fairway will add strokes to your score. Favor the left side off the tee as well as the approach. The green slopes from the back to front so try to keep your approach below the pin.

Hole 18

A long, dogleg right par 5, protected by trees on both sides. From the tee shot to the elevated green, this hole plays much longer than it yardage may suggest. A tee shot over the rock will cut the corner and give you the shortest distance from your approach. Your third shot plays uphill so adjust for distance. You’ll hit to a deep, two-tiered green.

Clubhouse

You might think that based on the yardage, this course would be breeze to play. But due to its tree lined, unparallel fairways and its spectacular elevated tees and greens, all golfers, both novice and experienced will enjoy playing this course again and again.
